Metric conversions?

Post by muttman »

Can anyone do these conversions? They are mail weaves, and I`m trying to figure out which I like best
4.0mm Outside diameterX.55mm wire
7.0mmod.X.80mm wire
10.0od.x1.2mm wire
I would also like to figure out the inside diameters on these, but I am utterly clueless on how. Math was never a strength of mine.
I appreciate any help given, Thanx!
John

4.0mm Outside diameterX.55mm wire = .02 THK. WIRE .27 I.D.

7.0mmod.X.80mm wire = .03 THK. WIRE .49 I.D.

10.0od.x1.2mm wire = .05 THK. WIRE .69 I.D.

Or so says my C.A.D. program......

Have a look at www.efunda.com

Has an online converter, and gage equivalents too.
