Here's a couple of pictures of the pigface bascinet I've been working on. It still needs a lot of refinement and cleanup. The "ears" still need to be rolled and cut into hinges.

Dude, it looks lovely... raising or welding or both or either?

And Shepherds we shall be
for thee my lord for thee
power hath descended forth from thy hand
so that my feet may swiftly carry out thy command
And we shall flow a river forth unto thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be
In nomini patriath, fili, espritus sancti.

I knew I forgot to mention something.....
The helm itself is welded from 3 pieces.
The visor is raised from a welded cone. I used Cad's pigface pattern from the archive.
The helm pattern was drawn up to fit the clients head.
Now that I have hotworking capabilities I plan on starting to raise helms instead of welding.
