Edge roller
Greetings all,
Any preferences for an edge roller? I am looking at the one from Harbor Freight.
I have been rolling edges by hand but it takes too long to do it that way.

somewhat expensive, but will comfortably handle amour-thicknesses of metal. . .

I have several bead rollers one of them being from Harbor Freight. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for." I clamped a 1/2" thick plate to the sides to keep the arms from warping and you may need to narrow the bottom roller to more easily roll thicker steel. With these modifications I can roll 14g by doing multiple passes. It isn't easy but it works. In general I roll pre 16th cent armour outward by hand and post 16th cent inward establishing the roll with a roller.
If Jeff Hedgecock recemends a tool save up and get it. Years ago I talked with him on the phone and he recemended I get a Burr King over the brand of sander I was concidering. I financed a Burr King 960 k and it was the best purchase I ever made
Thanks for your advice.
