Here are my simple version Italian legs. Wrap plates are leather articulated. Kind of an English style with 3 lames and demi-greave.
These are roughed out and bolted together and are not finished yet. However, they are shiney like this.
Sorry for the bad pic. My dig camera leaves something to be desired. Or it could be my lack of photographic skills.

You need to get your pics online somewhere before you can link to them. There's no way around that one. There are free places and most ISP's provide some kind of web space with your account.

The knees are 18 as well. They are dished and stretched while hot. That could make a difference.
The center ridge is raised.
I use 18 on most everything but helmets because it is light and just for historical purposes.

Just a thought. It's best to stretch your 18 ga. knees hot since they will get kind of thin and are prone to cracking if pushed too far.
If your going to work it cold, move up to 16 for the knees.
