1500s men's dress??

from this woodcut, I see a mature man in a simple shirt with a nice collar and a long skirt, tied at the waist; I see no partition between the legs. Reminds me of a japanese hakama used by aikidoka. Is this a dress of sorts? It doesn't look like it is a robe to me, else it should have an opening all down the length of the front.

Looks more like an Eastern European long coat to me.
My 10yo daughter says I'm pretty!

Depends on which guy you be referin to. The Landsknecht just behind the cannon is deffinitely in a houp. I got no idea what the older looking man (?) in front is wearing. I'm by no means an expert or certain, but he may be a turk, which might give you more clues as to what he has on.
It looked better in my head....
Damnit.
