Post by Tatsuo Okami »

Check out my Picture page http://community.webshots.com/user/ironriver

The gauntlets shown are going to be available soon on the website.
As well as the 2 sugarloaf helms on the bottom of the Helmet Album.
Take a look and let me know what you think. Any interested individuals speak up on the Gauntlets... I only have 12 pairs of varied styles ready to assemble... Who ever speaks up fast get first pick.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

DoctorFate Sugarloaf Great helm

Post by Tatsuo Okami »

Hi Irish
Yes you did.. The same answer applies. THAT one , when it sold, went for 180. I will probably keep to that price as I am working from stock I bought awhile ago. So the recent price increases in Steel shouldnt affect the next one. Specs??? 14 Ga thruout.. approx 12 inches high. 26 inches around.. Eye slot was 5X7/8 right and left... I think. I dont keep measurements on helms after they go away.
If you are just "Lost in Lust" deadset on having one . email me your head measurements and I'll see what I can do with the current run of sugarloaf helm bowls I'm working on.

It is an elegantly simple helm aint it :D
OOps sorry Ironmonger Almost missed you. Details for which.
Email me for specifics if you are interested in more than just one.

Looks like you get some info after all IronMonger and Aedivor
Mild steel Hourglass gaunts w/ metal cuff: 150
Mild steel Hourglass gaunts w/ Leather cuff: 170
Mild Steel Articulated wrist/Henry the eighth Cuff: 200
Mild Steel Articulated wrist/Gothic cuff: 250
Add 50% for stainless
Add 50% for polish
The viking sugarloaf: 200
The Bandit Occulara Sugarloaf W/ removeable grill: 250
The thumbs for the Gauntlets are fully dished with dished knuckle piece. Leather strap articulated. NOT connected to the gauntlet. I feel you get a better mount with this style by attaching directly to the glove you mount the gauntlets with. They are NOT fully enclosed.I never could get a decent grip with that style ... so I dont make them. I will try to get pix of the thumbs on the pic page tonight.
