Post by Ronan75 »

Ok im not sure if this would be authentic or not. What im looking for is kind of like a coat of plates, but with the plates on the outside. Ive looked all over the internet and havent found anything. Im not even sure what it would be called.

How about scale armour? That's sort of plates on the outside. Can look nice and was used in many periods.

What sort of look are you going for? There are several possibilities, one example is in the thread in the link above (its only talked about...I don't have a scanner). What you are trying to go for lookswise will help a great deal in helping us fill you in on suggestions.
