Valentine Corazzina For Sale

Post by Otto von Teich »

I've decided to sell my Corazzina Breastplate from Valentine Armouries. Its The same as what he has pictured on his site, except the lung plates are 16 gauge mild steel.Red velvet. I purchased this about 2 years ago to fight in, but never could bring myself to do it. I knew the velvet covering wouldnt hold up well with rattan combat. I've only worn it two or three or trhee times never fought in it. The only flaw is a small rub on the velvet where the waist belt rubbed it. about 1" long. This is covered by the waist belt and not noticable with the belt in place. It cost me $700 +40 shipping new. I'll sell it for $625 delivered. Really a beutiful item, but I'm replacing it with a Hedgecock Breastplate, and dont need both. If i dont sell it here , I'll list on ebay this week.http://www.varmouries.com/tran_06.html

Forgot to add, I've got a 48"chest. Its a little snug on me when I have it fully closed without gaps on the side or front. (I hate "gaposis") Might fit better on a 46" chest with a little room for padding.Could adjust down to a 44" chest I think easy.I noticed his price is listed as $725 now on the updated transitional harness page, where he shows the complete harness and prices for the individual parts.....Otto
