My Thanks

Post by Cadugan Bolt-Catcher »

My thanks to everyone here at Armour Archive, i would have never been able to figure half of the plate armour out myself.

i want to thank especially Rainald, Alan Bauldree and Sinric, who's helpful patterns have been able to guide me through the toughest parts of my armour making.

thanks to all the wonderful people here, the Knights of Ealdormere will soon be handing my butt to me.

no, unfortuneately i can't make it to EWP this summer, as i understand it is early in july (weekend??) and i am not 18 until the 16th of the month, and i will probably be authorizing at Pikemen's.

by and by, you are in Ealdormere? may i be so bold as to ask what Canton or Barony you belong to?

I myself am a member of Septentria of the canton Petrea Thule

I belong to the shire of Bastille du Lac just down the road from you. I will be at Pikemans and hope to see you authorize! Good luck and say hi to Davffit and Tiberus for me.

Funny you should say that, Tiberius is the one who will train me, and Davffit is one that i do not look foreward to fighting, as far as i have seen, he is pretty mean with his mace.

I *hope* to be able to aurthorize at pikemans, but i am just finnishing my armour this week, and i start training this week , i think that i may just be hopeful in thinking i can get authorized.

so most likely i will not be able to do any fighting until the fall, but i will look for you at Pikeman's. if you want to look for me, i will be spending alot of my time around the list, learning (or if i get really lucky, authorizing)

I'll look for you there! Hint when fighting Davitt protect head at all costs ( rang my chimes more than once with that damm mace ) They come to our fight pratices once and awhile , so if you get a chance come on down with them ( Tibrius is squired to our Knight Marshall Sir Evander ) More vict - I mean more fighters the merryer  I'm easy to find just look for the old out of shape slow guy!

thanks for the tip on Davitt, i've seen that mace do some incredible things for such a heavy weapon.

anyways, i'm going to be training fo a solid month, what are my chances of authorizing?

P.S. when tiberius is fighting with the sword and pole axe(butt spike) keep your shield centered near your torso, that's where it always seems to land.

I really can not say,, it depends if,when your marshall thinks that you are not a hazard to yourselve and to others. Take your time you have some really good fighters to learn from. As for the butt spike it does'nt work all that well on me as I'm a lefty and the angles are wrong
