I hope this post will be taken as constructive criticism.
The buckler pictured really needs some work.
Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks as though there is no dishing/sinking involved in construction - all tabbed and folded.
With tabs and folds, edges and angles appear. On the outer edge, the discrepencies are most noticeable.
If you lack a hammer, stump, or anvil, perhaps buying shield bosses and then mounting them to buckler faces will provide an alternative.
Again, if this were a first-time project, I'd have no problems - after all, bucklers are a disposable item.
However, these are being offered for sale, and I thought you might want to know what possible customers will be looking at.
Maybe the metallic feel of the buckler has caused some confusion. It is a "padded buckler" actually made for padded weapons sparring. There're no metal parts except the handle.
as far as your bucklers goes...i like 'em with a bit more ooomph to 'em. i make mine out of really OLD hubcaps. i am ,however, interested in your swords...the left hand one to be precise. can you give me more info? thanks
