Bayeux Tapestry Book

This book has been out for a while, but a new edition has just been released, which I picked up at B&N because I had a rockin' coupon.

If any of you have any interest in the Norman period, or often use the BT as a source, then I strongly suggest you get this book. It is by FAR the best reproduction I've seen of the BT, with high-quality color photos in a good size (I've been using my 2" high repro I got at Battle Abbey; the pics in this one are about 12" tall....). It also has several chapters on different aspects of the tapestry ala the Stenton book.

Thanks Glen, I am adding that to my "need to get" list.
