Pics of the Shop and an impromptu armor-in

Post by Lord Ogier »

Well, It is always fun to have friends come over for a bit of metal bending.

Here are a couple of pics of the guys who came over for Sunday.

The fellow wearing the helm is the owner of it. He is really happy with how it is coming out. We did a final fitting today, padded it and I hit him several times with a sword and mace.

Hey, is that the Russian #110 anvil that they were offering on E-Bay?

The Anvil is a cheap commie HF knockoff of a real anvil. I have some 1/4" armor plate that I am going to weld to the striking surface in the near future as the surface of the anvil is too soft and I have to resurface it regularly.

So, no, it is not from Ebay.
