Stainless can not normally be blackened by the same process that mild can, as far as I know.

The helm that picture comes from belongs to a friend of mine. It's gorgeous.

That is not a SS helm, the black is paint, and it is a very pretty helm. JP, tell Viggins to bring it to Guardian, and he can keep his lunch money. :wink:
