Really nice work, and the web site phot essay is fantastic. But why did you use pop rivets?

Well the bad thing about these armour is that they are only decorative but they give a good idea on the how-to make them. With some minor modification on the build-off you could make them wearable.

Dude, I am drooling on my keyboard. I *so* want a cuirasse like that, replete with faulds & all. Hooboy.

The best thing is, it makes me want to take up armouring.
