Hello, ive made a spangenhelm for a customer but did a little patterning error for the pannel so that a few rivet will be decorative and I will do little weld on inside, from exterior nothing will be noticable. the customer want it more historical so no weld
lenght: 8 "
wide: 6 3/4"
the helm is curently in planished stade and the nasal is not done, so i can still work a bit on the shape( get it to 8 1/4 lenght) and make a nasal to your taste, or maybe a faceplate like this helm would look nice too ( http://home.armourarchive.org/members/g ... e/cote.bmp )
whit nasal and leather suspension the price is 325$ Canadian
i can provide picture of similar helm completed and picture of the one in question by email

completed similar helm: (the finish look nicer in real than photo!)
ps: the helm actually had 2 row of rivet, this pic have been modified to show what would look like 1 row of rivet to a customer, and i dont have the original pic

not sure to understand your msg.... you like the faceplate or the nasal?
as for the first helm, this is my personal helm wich is curently in a medieval jousting show at Chateau medieval Sir d'Howard. But it have been done real quick in 2 days because I needed a new helm for Bicolline;P and i really love the protection/visibility/movement in it, you can be sure to see a better version soon:)
*edit* sorry last night i changed some name in my ftp and the pic where not working anymore, should be correct now
