revivals new padded gloves

Post by Patton Lives »

Anyone had a chance to try these out? How do they hold out to hickory wasters or rebated steel? These look like a flashy alternative to hockey gloves for doing I.33 and unarmored longsword fencing, might even grab a pair and have some fingered gauntlets made out of them for armored fencing.

Trying to learn derivations of field equations from a lecture is like trying to learn how to paint by watching Bob Ross on PBS.

I handled a pair a couple weeks ago. They are lightly padded on the back of the hand and wrist. Akin to street hockey gloves. Maybe a 1/4" padding. They'd be good for controlled sparring with wasters or rebated. The leather is really nice. Supple but durable; what you need for this. Stitching looks really good too.
