Tis the season for building your library

Post by BEHanner »

Its the time of year to fill your library with new books and here is an oportunity. I'm offering all of these books with shipping included in the price. Please post in this thread the books you want and be sure to look at what other people may have taken before you. I will e-mail you with Payment information and to confirm your order. Any payments that I do not recieve within one week will not be sent until after the new year. Shipping will be Media Mail by the US postal service. Continental US only.

All Books unless otherwise stated are in like new condition. They have been sitting in a book
store for months to years.

1 The English Civil War Day by Day by Emberton HC $8

2 By the Sword Divided: Eyewitness accounts of The English Civil War by Adair HC $10

1 The Wars of the Roses by Fraser HC $8
I typically don't like these kinds of picture histories that get put out but it contains a
series of illuminations of English law courts c.1460 and are semi-unique as not alot of
English illumination, if there was much, that has been published. Most books in the period of
the 1460s and 70s in England appear to have been illuminated in Flanders.

3 Wales and the Wars of the roses by Evans HC $10

1 A Medieval Miscellany by Herrin HC $10

1 Henry VI, Margaret of Anjou and the Wars of the Roses: a Source Book by Dockray PB $8

2 Joan of Arc: A Military Leader by DeVries HC $10
A decent book about the military aspects of Joan of Arc's life.

1 The Parlement of Paris by Shennan PB $6
The Parlement of Paris was the supreme law court in France from the 13th century to the
Revolution.

1 Edward IV by Ross HC $9
Older copy with the dust jacket not in particularly good shape.

1 Richard III by Ross HC $9
Older copy with dust jacket in good shape

2 Richard III by Ross PB $6
If you want to read a very centrist account of Richard III this is it. Ross is not interested
in condemming or vindicating Richard like most other authors who write on him.

1 The English Settlements by Myres PB
This is about the early Anglo-Saxons and thier conquest and establishment in England.

1 The Anglo-Scots Wars: 1513-1550 by Phillips HC $10

2 The Oxford Illustrated History of Medieval England by Saul HC $15

1 The Lady in England 1100-1500 by Coss HC $10

All orders are in the mail and I will be leaving to head north on Saturday so I will not take any more orders until the new year. But if you want to put a place marker in the next 2 weeks feel free.

To all those ordering: BE CAREFUL

Post by SirJeremy »

Hello all,

First off I would like to say to Brent, if you are not who I think you are than accept my full apologies.....

To all the others: There was someone by the name "Brent" posting several of these same titled books for sale several months ago on here. This person "lived" in FL, accepted paypal under lakelandherps (or something similiar) to that. This person NEVER CAME THROUGH with the deal and took several Archivers' money (I was fortunate enough to get mine back, others were out of luck). However, since Brent is a new member, I must advise BUYER USE EXTREME CAUTION until we find out this guy is serious.

Regards,

Jeremy

Nope not me I got burned by the same guy too. Ironmongermisc I believe.

I may try to do a revised list but this is the only place that I'm selling them and everyone who has gotten books has posted in the thread so if it isn't listed as being taken by someone then it is still avalible. I'm out of town until the New Year but you can reserve the books you want by posting in the thread and then we can take care of the money and shipping in the new year.

This Brent used to post as "Peder". He's been around for a long time, and he's honest. Buy with confidence, you have nothing to worry about with this one.
