Ok guys, Tear it up.

I know the split isn't supposed to be there. But, this is a prototype so I didn't bother to weld it back up.

There is nothing to tear up, its good.

Personally I'd bouge a bit for the ankle bones, but it looks fine.

Looking good. The calf muscles look really nice. It does look like you need to do some raising to get the proper shape to the front of it. It should "dip" back twards the lower shin (Looking from the side) instead of maintaining the stright line. Since raising will compress the metal it looks like you've got the pattern perfect just need a little more hammer work before planishing and polish.

Looks nice! Are you planning on doing any in Bronze? Looks Greek to me! Knitebee is correct about the front and sides coming in to fit more snugly around the lower shin. A bit more time, and that'll be quite a beauty! Lovely work.

Nice progress pics. I would work on raising out the ankle bone areas on each side as well since these will rub painfully when worn. An anealing followed by some cold work should do the trick.

I hadn't thought about it but it could be a really fun project though. ;)
