Historic Enterprises Holiday hours

Historic Enterprises will be operating on a shortened schedule between December 22 and January 3 so our employees can enjoy the holidays with some well-deserved time off. We'll be answering the phones Monday thru Thursday as usual between 9AM and 12 noon and sporadically for the rest of the day. Orders will continue to be processed and sent out but may take an extra couple of days. We will have very limited ability to process rush orders during this period, so please plan accordingly. Regular office hours and order processing will resume on January 3, 2005.

We'd like to thank everyone who ordered from us this year. You've made it a great year for us and we sincerely appreciate your business. It's always a pleasure doing business with the SCA community and we hope to see you next year! We have some big developments in the works for 2005, so please stay tuned.

We'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the Historic Enterprises mailing list. Subscribe through our website and be the first to hear about new products, promotions and specials available only to mailing list members. As an added bonus for our mailing list members a noncommercial online journal will join our new product announcements. We'll start things off with a series of articles about the history of Christmas, and following journals will contain recipes, how-to articles, news and general articles of interest to the medieval enthusiast. Also included will be interviews with the artisans who create our goods, and the people who use them. This series will kick off with a story on printmaker Jorge Kelman of "the Guild of St. Luke" and historical interpreter and former Chairman of "The White Company", Mark Griffin of "Griffin Historical".
