Looking for Stainless Lamellar plates

Post by Kevin Williams »

I'm looking to buy Stainless steel lamellar plates. generally enough plates for a Hauberk with pauldrons and tassets. Plates need to be 20 or 18 gauge. I've already checked GAA armouries and WMA but they are sold out. Keeping my cost low is important to me as this is my first armour project. So is anyone selling or know of any places that sell the lamellar plates I am looking for?

EDIT: almost forgot, but I need plates that have pre-drilled holes.

Check with matt Broadway, on this board he has a set of SS Lamallar in the Birka style for sale. Not a bad price.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Hi Kevin,

I spoke with Adam at WMA just a week or two ago about his lamellar supply and he told me he anticipated having more by the end of this month.

I've got 400 WMA plates I'm trying to sell.

Alot of em are loose, but quite a few are laced up into a 4 row body belt so I'm selling them for $200 + $20 for shipping.

PM me or email me if you're interested.

There is a post on here that says lamellar for sale, by me, with more info.

Sorry for a wait before I replied, had computer issues.

anyways, WMA has their stock of lamellar plates in so, it kinda makes this topic useless now as they had the plates I wanted.
