Live steel Training

Post by lebreton »

One last shameless plug for the Viking live steel Feb 11,12,13 training in Mississippi. We will have three UK trainers as well as N.A. trainers. Cabins and food available as well as tenting.

Directions to Viking Training, Mississippi

Post by Greenshield »

For those of you who do not know where the Gulf Wars site is...

Greetings all. It seems the web page that holds the directions to the training site as had a melt down. Here are the directions to the training site:

Coming from the West: Take I-20 or I-10 east bound to I-59.

From I-20 take I-59 south to EXIT 35. Go left over the interstate. Take your 1st right (there is a gas station there) into Kings Arrow ranch. Follow signs to the site.

From I-10 take I-59 North into Mississippi and take EXIT 35. Take a right. Take your 1st right (there is a gas station there) into Kings Arrow ranch. Follow signs to the site.

From the North and East, take your best routes to I-59 and follow the above accordingly.

We will see you there!

What are you using for a source for your techniques? By that I mean, are you basing your training off something period or someones ideas? i ask just case Viking swordplay is in that dark area where we dont have any historical manuals to speak of.

Allen

This is not HWMA it's about getting the ok to fight at the next big Hastings in the U.K. The Vikings is alot like the SCA with good kits, no sports gear, and pulled rebated sword fighting not rattan fighting.
