Greetings everyone,
I am looking for a quillion and pommel for my sword, and clamshell gaunts as well since I won't be using a basket hilt. I searched on yahoo, and have only found 1 place with quillions for sale, and that being Badger's Den.
Nothing at all against them, but I was just curious as to any other makers or vendors of quillions/pommels so I can compare prices/styles.
Also, if anyone has an older pair of clamshell gaunts that are still in fighting shape, I would love to talk about how much you would like for em. My hands are medium - large I would think, 8 inches from palm to tip of the middle finger.
Thanks!
Karrik

Mandrake Armory is the only one that pops into my head.

Badgers Den sells the same ones as Mandrake... maybe a resaler, I don't know. If you get a pommel from Mandrake (wich I recommend highly) get the taping fork to go with it.
Anshelm armouries also sell them, as well as Iron Monger. There used to be another... Otters Den, I think it was, but I don't know if they've got a web site.
