I think its becuase of the price. $550 seems a lot for a Greathelm...its a nice helm....Its just...if I was going to spend $550, I'd probably buy a Lobster Tailed Sallet....

but like Ive stated in another thread.... I'M CHEAP!!

Im sure somone will buy it!

Yes it is a very nice helm; however their are too many cheap bastards on the forum.

Thanks for the compliments. This is my first helm from scratch. From pattern design through polishing with wax. I must give credit to those I have learned from though. The certainly help sculpt the skill I have mustered thus far.... Master Talbot, Master Valerius, Master Cad and lst and certainly not least... Brian "Watch out, thats hot" Rainey.

Wulfe, I think it has nothing to do with the craftsmanship, which is very nice, I think it's the fact that a stainless helm of the same design can be gotten for about half the original price. Spring steel reminds me of rivetted mail a few years ago; much interest but not many buyers until the price dropped a bit.
Just my personal, semi-ignorant opinion, mind you.

Let me know when you place it on ebay.

I'd be very interested in this helm, but the $450 price is QUITE a bit more than the normal going price for a greathelm.

Thanks,

Kent

If I have not received any interest by tonight, it will be on ebay by tomorrow morning.

I am not going to go into why it is more expensive, it should be apparent.

That is a beauty and a good price. If it was my time period and I wasn't poor as shit right now, i'd make you an offer.
