I had to order it that way.. It was the cheapest option to me.. I bought it from a friend of a friend in the UK.. The cheapest armour he does is self assemble, plus if something breaks since I put the armour together I will know how to fix it..

that's great, looks really shiney, if only my stuff looked that good!

watch out if you go to Pensic though, i believe the CA's there haf an affinity for really shiney helms.

oh, and if you are from the mid to southern states, a linen undergarment is a must, otherwise you will boil to death in full plate. i'm usually starting to sweat once i get in my own armour at room temperatures. as i don't have linen or good cotton for my undergarment/ arming garments

Hopefully to get some help and possibly direction towards a armourer for my gorget or chainmail standard..Hopefully some one they know can use all the extra chainmail i have laying around and make a standard from that..

Check out GAA Armouries - they have a nice stainless gorget. I'm very happy with mine.

Well around 1000 bucks ... Not counting the padded jack or the hauberk ... I am starting to worry I will have to change by persona's time period to match the armour.. Since I have found on the stupidly rich knights had plate in 1347...
