Review of Mandrake Armory

Post by Cedric »

Just received a small order from Mandrake Armory and thought I would give them a quick word or two of praise.

First of all, I mailed them payment on monday morning.. and got my stuff today. Really fast service.

Everything I bought (2 stainless basket hilts and a center boss) was exactly as advertised. I am really pleased with the look of the basket hilts, cant wait to try them out.

Overall I am extremely satisfied (as always) with Mandrake Armory. These guys have always been my first merchant stop at Estrella war, it's nice to see that their online business is as awesome as everything else.

I ordered 4 axe heads, a bunch of 2 and LP thrusting tips, vervelles for my daughter's new Gillaspie bascinet, a bronze belt buckle too. It all showed up early, it is all very nice. Greg and Gretchen were nice enough to send me a Mandrake armoury T shirt and a copy of Krotchpunt, Sir Vitus's fine tome.

I could not be more pleased. Then again, I have always thought highly of Mandrake and their customer service.

I became a big fan of these guys at my first pennsic. They are true to their word and will give you bad news as straight as the good news. They know thier craft and make some great products.

They are definitely good folks and an asset to the SCA. They are a great example of how a merchant should run their business.

I have ordered two shields and rattan from them and have been very pleased with the service and product. I plan on ordering a viking hand guard from them soon.
