Mace for sale

Post by Edward de la Pole »

Made by the Brass Axe and The Rose, this is a "Rose petal" mace for sale. I had them put a larger ball on it because I used it to fight with in the Adrian Empire. It is in excellent condition, I paid $85 for, but I am willing to sell it for $75 with shipping included inside the US. It is approximately 8lbs.

Each of the 5 flanges is 1/4" steel, it is as you can see blackend/blued. It has a maroon/purplish leather wrap on the handle. No burrs, no sharp edges. virtually indestructable (unless of course you were to cut it apart  ) Anybody who knows Tom Derby's work can attest to this fact.

It is a very nice piece that should go to a good home, it just sits in my armour box at this point and has been there for a few years now.

As to it being combat legal in Adria or anywhere else, you will have to check, but I believe it is no longer legal in Adria. I used to use it back in the day when men were men and sheep were scared.

For archivers, the shipping will still be included for the winning bid. Just make sure you include that you are an archiver if you win.

Why wouldn't it be Adria-legal? The weight?

They changed the rules later on. I've never actually weighed it, but it's got that 8# feel to it and I know more than half of the weight is in the head... it's a mace after all

It is a real sweet piece, I just don't haul it out for anything anymore.
