Post by Stahlgrim »

1st time to a fire Local kid pyro/arsonist
fire department got there quick not a lot lost or damaged and I fixed it.

2nd time 3 hurricanes charlie.et al.
house destroyed we moved to apartment and I regeared the shop for no power most power tools went to storage warehouse.

Now we are building a new house and I am told the 20'x20' old detatched garage has to come down so we can build. :x

That is a shame, but, like Ceramite said, you can now have a new shop, and you can re-use the building materials from the old barn for something else! You can make charcoal from wood for BBQing, and stone walls in garden if 'tis made of stone, and if there's a lot of good steel rebar in it, cut it up, heat it, and pound it! :D Cheer up, it's not completely awful. :D

ya your right I am getting a three car garage with the new house so 1 bay will be mine I am going to wall it in and a/c it and I shouldn't complain cause when all is said and done I won't have a mortgage. it's just the 8+-months of waiting and putting most of my tools in storage. My wife absolutly refuses and rightly so to allow my to set up in the living room of our little apartment.

I've seen people do auto repair in self storage units, maybe you can rent one of those for a time?!
