Goode Gentles,
I wanted to say thank you to the entire Kingdom of Trimaris for the gracious loan of His Grace Sir Baldar this past Neibelungen war. His Grace was charming, ducal and really cool. I think he enjoyed fighting in the thousand year old castle too.
It really means a lot to Drachenwalders when good gentles take the trouble to travel the thousands of miles to attend our events. Sometimes it's easy to feel as if we were cut off from the Society at large. It's a really big deal. It's especially nice when the person who travels all that way is also really nice. I personally was surprised and impressed by his musical skills as well as his prowess. He complimented both my guitar and my lady, which are both sure fire ways into my heart.
There, that's my personal thank you. I, as a Drachenwalder, am deeply thankful for his Grace's visit. I am positive that all of my countrymen would say the same, though I don't speak for anybody but me.
It means a whole lot. Thanks again. It's a really big deal. I wish we could keep him.

I had the grace and fortune of meeting Baldur at Ragnaroc 04, and was sorely disapointed he could not make 05. He is indeed a fine example of chivalry, and a skilled fighter. My favorite memory of the Castle siege at ragnaroc is Baldur being hoisted over the walls, his sword in his gut belt over his shoulder, and once over and inside the enemies fortification, the inability to reach his weapon(i think it got stuck in his armor) and yet still arrive the victor against his first oponent on the other side.
