Mike,
what gear you missing? I got a bunch of miscellaneous parts kicking around my basement. If you only need a few essentials to get on the field I'd be happy to lend them to you until your gear is done.
Shoot me an email with what you need, sizes, where you're located, etc..... what I have ain't pretty but it would get you swinging a stick.

thank you for the kind offer william,
my order was as follows full legs, gauntlets with Glove installed, articulated georget, Pivot top pauldrons, and articulated elbows. but i hail from the cold lands of Chippewa Falls Wisconsin, wear the olny thing colder than the nights are the women ( just kinding to all the ladies
) so though i thank you for your kind offer i must declind due to the distance. but once again my thanks for the offer.
by the way i should make mention that my employers helm arrived today and as he said "Alan does excellent work. I just wish he was more reliable."
PS: Alan if my stuff is in the mail i really need a tracking # or at least a aproxamate date to expect it. other wise it will be out all day and snow and steel do not mix well, and i don't really trust some of my friends not to hide it just to screw with me ( cuse thats what friends are for
)
thanks again.

so Monday the 12th I got a PM telling me Alan would be working on my helmet that week, and it should be mailed out by Thursday the 15th. The previous correspondance to this where he promised it would be shipped the week of the 5th he told me he had a spring steel & stainless he was working on and I could have my pick. I picked the stainless. On the 12th he told me the only reason is wasn't done the week of the 5th was because he had a stomach bug.
I now have a helmet Alan has stated is worth $800 and he has a vendor waiting on it, in the meantime it's sitting on a shelf gathering dust and probably rusting.... I can tell you that if I had $800 worth of merchandise kicking around the nation I would keep in contact with the person who had it and try to stay on happy terms with them while they "stored it" for me waiting for me to finish the replacement.
Alan..... you still suck at customer service. I enjoy stairing at my incredibly expensive paper weight because as a metal sculpture it's beautiful.... but if I wanted a sculpture this isn't what I would have bought.
If this doesn't get resolved soon I'm just going to sell of the helmet I have in my possession and I'll buy a new hat from someone else.... an in stock helmet that is....
happy new years everyone

I think by now the point has been driven in repeatedly and this horse is dead, ressurected then beaten dead again. it is painfully obvious 1) his customer service is bad 2) no one should do business with him 3) you cannot seem to just let it go 4) this is a tired old post that needs to be put to rest.
You were poorly served and that is a horrible thing, especially at these prices. I am not going to reply to this post again in the fervent hope it goes away after today. Good luck in your armor finding endeavors. I recommend armor and castings for decent gear or dirk in san diego CA. see my post in the "i want to be a Spartan..." forum for a pic of his work and contact info.
respectfully submitted,

I just wanted to let everyone who had followed this thread to know that I received my replacement helmet from Alan on Friday and this ordeal has come to a final closure. The helmet that was to large for me is in a box and will be going to the post office tomorrow night right after work.
Sorry for kicking this back to the front page, just wanted to know that though it was quit the ordeal Mr Bauldree has made good on his commitment and deliver my helm & legs.
in service
Will
