I am in need of a 14G pembridge helm. If anyone here has a open slot I would be very greatful. I need to fight in one the first two weekends of November. I know it is short notice but I sold my other two helms thinking someone could do one for me. They have gotton swamped with other work and can not get to my helm in time. I was kinda looking to spend around $250.00 I hope this is a realistic range for reg. steel and short notice. The type pembridge would be like the classic one ( valentine armouries has good pics ) only with a bit wider on the oculars with perforated steel or bars welded to teh inside. For Adria Combat as well as faire fights.
Thanks

Beathan at armour and castings once quoted me $80 for a 14ga mild steel Pembridge. Basically The black prince helm without the crown breaths.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Hi Stephen,
I'll second the Beathan recommendation. My joust helm was made by his shop and it totally rocks (and I am selling it after my last joust this weekend
). I received it less than 3 weeks after I ordered it (and it was a custom job!).
Give him a yell.

I don't know if he's still armouring but I bought one from Boldo a couple years ago. He still has an active page anyway.... http://www.boldo.com/armory/hishlm.html You might give him a try. This is one of his helms...
