Anyone have one for sale, or know where I can get one less expensive than the Tippman?
Thanks,
Alaric

Shoot Linda Steffan an email, if she doesn't haven't one in stock she can order it and she usually gives SCAdian's good deals. Just mention you're in the SCA and price usually drops. She merchant's at Pennsic every year so you probably have seen her stuff.

actually she gives everyone a deal, kind of anti-capitalism but she likes what she does so.....
hope that helps

Embosser
What are you wanting to do with this machine? Are you actually needing a rotary embosser?

No other manufacturer makes anything like this in a table top version. They're usually large motorized devices in the harness industry.
Check with Pilgrim Sewing Machine, they might have another bench machine for cutting leather (called a 3in1 or a 5in1) designed to cut the heaviest sole leather with no effort. http://www.pilgrimshoemachine.com/
Other places to look for equipment like this;

or Shop Talk (used to be Harness Shop News)

Crank handle Embosser
Just one manufacturer is not entirely true. I have one sitting in my shop that was made by some Amish folks. It is just a little better than the embossers made by Tippman in my mind. The price is a bit cheaper too. I can take a few pics if you are interested in looking at the embosser.
