Fantasy Aventail. Picture.

Post by Halberds »

First attempted aventail. A little more client fitting. Then I can do the final riveting.

For you that followed the development. I used wax string and laced the maille to the leather hinges inside the stainless flaps.

A little more tuning up and I think I can wrap it up.

Thank you for your continued support.

Hal.

Very nice Hal. Did you have trouble fitting it to the helm?

Thank you gentlemen for your comments.
I would like you to know that our very own Patrice Lemee made the stainless aventail. A custom fit, long distance via email. Very well done Pat!

Hal.

Ps: Now maybe I can get to work on my sword.

Hal, that is spectacular! That helm turned out excellent. You really have an eye for Asthetic elements working together.
