I have a fist full of dollars now too. I sold my '77 Sportster yesterday. Sorry to see her go but I just got to old to enjoy it anymore.
So what to do with a fist full of dollars.... First thing is to get my shop wired for 220 them buy the fancy Mig welder from Miller.
I will take JT up on his advice and learn to make some kick ass bar grills. Who knows... it just might come in handy for my yard art too.

I want a TIG welder so I can add an alloy of metals to the blend. I want to sculpt a radius of welded metal across the rods that make up the grill.
I want to blend together, the trim and laten..... I want to create new alloys....
Most of all...I want to be able to melt a bunch of stuff together.....
How about blue glass and bronze?

I have a lil MM 175 at home for normal day to day use but we have a Synchrowave 250 at work that I really like. I haven't done anything more than stick aluminum together with it yet but I love copper and am looking forward to learning to stick that together some day in the near future...

Yes... I jumped on the Band Wagon and ordered two... They won't last long at $15.00 each.
However if enough of us order them... they will increase production and lower cost.

I am still working on the larger dish.
Sold 2 of my prototype big dishes to help finance the new mold development.
I gave in and bought the other, teardrop shaped one... Just too good of a deal!
And good, you did continue production of those dishes - I still haven't used mine at full capability. I did, however, get that bump out, after long session of hammering... It was a "happy metal pounding" experience, anyway.
but I just got to old to enjoy it anymore.
