Review- Forth Armoury

I just got my Klappvisor bascinet from Steve today. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product.

It arrived in a box-within-a-box, with bubble wrap ( ). It came polished to a near mirror finish. The welds are ground down on the inside. The vervelles are peened down nicely, though a couple are a bit loose.

The only real negatives I have for it are the fact that the bottom edge scrapes my ears when I put it on (it fits fine when I'm wearing it), and some of the brass trim is a bit "off".
Also, the way the visor fits to the skull could be better.

Customer service was great, and the item shipped and arrived within a week of my credit card being billed.

All in all, I would rate the experience as an "A"- for $200.00 U.S., I can't bitch AT ALL! As a matter of fact, I'm tickled pink!

LIke I said before: it has some minor flaws, but overall I am very pleased. I expect minor defects like these for the price I paid.
