Light Sparring Gloves?

anyone seen or heard anything about these? why black or red? cant anyone have a natural color?

worth the 40 bucks? what can they hold up agianst?

Incidental contact when light sparring. Useless for direct impact as they were never designed to be. Quite a few of our people use them for training with aluminum wasters.

BTW, the natural colour of chrome leather is kind of a greyish white. Doubtful Brian would sell many in that colour. They'd look like welding gloves.

I have a pair of these, in black. My wife used them for rapier (SCA) and they did well, though they were a little thick for her. I wore them for heavy (SCA), put a half gaunt over them, and they were great. Only problem was that the long cuff didn't match up with my arm armor and tended to bunch up. Eventually I had a set of finger gaunts built around them. They work great.
When in doubt, sound the charge...
