Here's what I'm looking for, in order of desireablility....
1. Simple Cervelles "iron cap" helmets to use for a variety of periods.
2. Brimmed war hats, preferably of mulit-piece construction to use in c. 1300 stuff.
3. Visorless bascinets.
4. Scratch, dent and rust nasal helms to use as extremely outdated helmets in Scotland, 1314.
In all cases, the presence of chin straps, liners, padding etc. greatly increases my level of interest. Also, if it will help me find what I'm looking for cheaply, minor rust, denting, etc. is acceptable. I prefer used to new to keep costs down.
