Something I would suggest on the bargrill- have you considered going verticial on the bars instead of horizontal? with a slight angle, say 5-10 degrees off vertical for the bars? Makes for a more pleasing helm, and the slight angle helps stop the optical stacking in your field of vision. If you don't get what I mean, I'll send you a pic of my hats. Helps reduce the "football helmet effect"

I have alot of old patterns that I'm not useing anymore, I don't think I'll be able to make it to the armour-in due to it's time for my new wife's and my vacation to see her family. (OH FUN !!)
