I received an email from him a week or so ago. He is in the middle of a major personal event. He promised me that all of his customers would be hearing from him ASAP about new estimated delivery times.

This is exactly the case, but no worries I am still in contact with him and can assure you that as soon as this problem is taken care of he will be in contact with everyone.

I thought so, because in the past, he had always responded very quickly. He made me an awesome pair of custom guantlets in time for Estrella War 2006.
I hope all goes well with him and his family.

As further reassurance, I also recieved a reply from him when I contacted about the estimated delivery of my gauntlets. He told me about his personal problem, and promised he'd quickly get back on track.

I too hope all goes well for him.

I selected him because of his excellent attitude and pictures of his work.
Must admit his is some of the nicer looking mid-priced work I have ever seen.

I will be patient with him based on what you all said and on my own positive experience with him. Its hard though because I am dealing with 3 different armorers right now and not getting what I need from any of them and I have a combat jousting tournament in 2 weeks.
