Torvaldr's Truck Vandalized

Post by Torvaldr »

Someone smashed the rear window of my truck today while it was parked in front of my house. My insurance will not cover vandalism so I have to raise funds to replace it. To make matters worse I also am having to move this week and need the truck desperately and am not allow to drive it until the window is replaced. So if you were in need of armor now would be the time to order, I have a number of things in stock, and quite can make things fairly quickly right now.

Medium size red scale suit $400.00
medium size groin length black scale shirt $275.00
3 splinted kidney belts $65 each
1 pair natural brown pauldrons $50.00
1 pair black tooled pauldrons $80.00
1 set black bazubands these are fairly tight. 6 1/2 wrist without padding and 11 inches long. They can be cut back. $80.00
1 black dog collar gorget for 18 inch neck $35.00

Got a pic of the dog collar and the bazubands? Also - how big 'round at the "thick" part of the bazubands?

Thanks.

Not handy they are at the new house and I am now stuck at the old one until my house mate gets home. But here is some pictures of a natural brown dog collar. They are the same design just different colors.

Just to clarify for folks the black bazubands are brand new never used, but were a cancled order so I have discounted them since the size makes them tough to resell. Also they have the hinge inside rather than outside, at the customers request.

No I do not have comprehensive, just the state minimums. I am disabled and the only income I have currently is what I make armoring, so no extra money available for that.

Thanks to a very good person the window can now be replaced. The armor in stock is still for sale, but the immediate need has been taken care of.

Thanks to you all and the true human spirit you have shown.

I think the collar is sold, at least I have two folks interested. Here is the picture of the black set. Although Beerslayer has indicated an interest in them.

The brown ones are just plain brown but same shape and size.

Thorvaldr, are you sure that it was vandalized, or perhaps it was hit by a rock thrown by a mower?

I may have someone interested in the bazubands (although I'll make sure the payment arrangements are different this time - sorry 'bout that). What is the measurement inside of the bazubands where it goes around the thick part of the forearm?

Thanks!

I will have the measurments just a little later. I have to go over to the new house and can't until the window is repaired, which should be this morning.

The tooled set have sold.

Update on the black bazubands I remeasured them and tried them on my own arms. Here are the correct measurements. Length 11", Wrist 7 1/2", Forearm 12". This is all snug on my arm with no room for padding.
