Roman Cavalry Helm...Dome only...wanna trade?

Post by Scorpus »

I want to trade for something, preferably finished armor be it leather or steel like maybe elbow cops or knee cops or half gauntlets or who knows tell me what you have! I made this about 10 years ago and never finished making it. It is 14 gauge galvanized steel hand dished (2 helm halves) with reinforcement strips on the side and brass rivets. I haven’t made armor in years and no longer have the drive to make it or the tools to do it, so maybe you can finish it off to make yourself a nice fighting helm... :) This Roman Cavalry helm dome is slightly larger than normal at 31" circumference. Not much bigger but a little. My old helm was 29 1/4" circumference and my head is 23" circumference around it fit all right. Any ways, look at the picture and make me an offer, you never know! Thank you.

WHile I am not interested in the helm top I can offer some finished armour bits to you. If you are going to the Spanaway fighter practice let me know and I'll try to make it. I have complete legs, arms and some parts. Only the legs would cost you $$ as I am trying sell them for my squire bro'. I could post pics if you are interested.

Please post the pictures and thank you. I am going to go tomorrow to the Spanaway fighter practice to meet folks and get some input. I won't be fighting, since I don't have my completed kit yet. Thank you again.
