Hello.
Today I just sent out the piece which I've been working on for the past few weeks, ever since I got back from Israel, for a local exhibition of projects done by people on the trip.
This is a choppy few photos from the second session of forging through the finished project. It doesn't show the hours of assembly, sculpting, silver raising and embossing, glassblowing, rock selecting, painting, or design, and the pictures are not very good, but they show the stem/supports being made and then the finishing process, and finished product.

- This is the warm shop, combination of hot and cold work, you can see a page of some of the original design work I did when in Israel a few days after the first rockets came across the border.

Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973), where it was ruled in a 7-2 decision "Megalon's emission of lightning from his horn-like appendage did not constitute a violation of Godzilla's civil rights." (from the Majority opinion)

but wait! there's more!
the description got cut off on the "oiling" photo, but basically after doing a sh&% load of stuff, and building other componants and assembly and design modification etc. the iron parts have been cleaned, and now are being rubbed with multiple coats of butcher's wax to even out color, protect from rust, and make it look all glossy-like.
it's done!!!!! I celebrated by forging myself a solid bar pipe stake and doing the first pass on my new bike helmet to go with my new titanium 24 speed mongoose for 75 bucks, and because the bikemen refused to tune my bike up because it is so rusted, the brakes don't work, the rims are bent, the padding fell out of the seat a year ago (it hurts to ride it, it is painful...) and the make is so old it isn't even around anymore, and the gears are tempermental and a host of other things. (I'm used to it, and rode it down the the bike shop, and have been riding 6 miles every saturday this past year, and every day this week)

- After countless hours of forging, and micro-forging (1/2 cm yellow heats with a 10 ounce hammer with light blows) cutting, grinding, more forging, fire blackening, soldering, raising, embossing, wrapping a closed thin glass ball in red hot steel root bars

Thanks! When I walked it through the mall to the place where I had to drop it off, everyone was looking at me all funny...
