Hello.
Now that I'm done with the art piece I can get on with a significant project for myself. What helmet could be more useful from day to day than a bike helmet? So, I've done the first few passes on the skull, 16 guage steel which will have a black oil finish, but I need you guys to help me decide which of the...heh heh...decals ...needs to go on top. It would be hollow aluminum, so the weight would be minimal for either one.
here are the choices:
note: both look absolutely huge, and will almost certainly be scaled down, now that I think about it.

This is a generic angry boar design on the top, done with a few picture references, but it will change to be more boarlike.

Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973), where it was ruled in a 7-2 decision "Megalon's emission of lightning from his horn-like appendage did not constitute a violation of Godzilla's civil rights." (from the Majority opinion)
Personally, I like the hawg. Be sure to post progress pics!

Catherine's Quest is no longer in business. I may open back up at some point in the future. Thank you all for all of your support over these last few years. It has meant the world to me.
I like the dragon, his tail could wrap around turning into leather and be the chin strap.
One could align the dragon so as to look more like foward motion.
Ever see this?
http://www.ursispaltenstein.ch/cgi-bin/ ... nament.jpg Old hood ornaments have that style. swept back and foward thrusting.
The art to look fast.
Best of luck on your bike helm.

Ps: You can bondo and paint and not have to plainish...
