cloth/cote armour of the latter half of the 14th century

Hi all,
I would like to find out more information on cloth/cote armour of the 14th century. now it doesn't have to qualify as "armour" just clothing worn in conjunction with armour. (examples: houplandes, jupons, lentners, gambesons...) I'm still trying to figure out a decent 14th cent rig before I replicate the effigy of Walter Von Hohenklingen. I get an idea and prepare to make it, and right when I'm about to start, I change my mind again. so I want to see some other forms of cloth armour.

Might as well ask the details of what you've considered and rejected. It sounds like you're looking for soft kit as well as hard.

Is there any period art showing lentners worn without armor anywhere? The things seem rather the anti-cotehardie.

might as well. it will probably give me a lot more info. and yes, I am trying to put together hard and soft.
