Clangs around but has about a year waiting list.

Yeah. He's working on getting his shop into order. Big project, and pretty key for him going forward.

In response to this and other review that has been posted on the Armour Archive, I would like to respond to accusations that have been written about Waldryk’s Arms and Armoury. I am Snowlyne Renn, the person who runs the office side of the business and has for the last 15 years, Waldryk has never had any part in that end of the business. I would like to first apologize to all the customers that I have given misinformation, handled their order incorrectly and not had consistent communication with. I would like to begin by saying that I have had many issues with customer service as well as office organization which has lead to delays. I take full responsibility for those issues and would like to say that I have taken multiple steps to correct the problems and hope that none of issues will occur ever again.

In a business that makes items completely by hand it is inevitable that there will be delays in orders. My mistake was not addressing them quickly enough and keeping customers well informed about progress. I needed to recognize that customers are some times ordering with out ever knowing us and knowing what kind of business and people we are. I delude myself it to thinking that “everyone” knows we are not out to cheat them.

Waldryk solely left me responsibility of the e-mails and communication due to the fact that he has dyslexia and does not spell well and he is normally so busy that him answering the phone is unreasonable for him to keep up with both the shop production and office duties. I never meant for his reputation to come into question due to me inability to keep up and handle the office end of the business.

Waldryk is one of the best peer that I have ever known. Not because he is my husband and allows me to make mistakes that no person should ever be allowed to make, but because he his always giving, always honorable and when he makes a mistakes does he very best to correcting with finesse and dignity. Waldryk is in the armour making business because he love to make armour. He has always done everything in his power to keep prices as affordable as possible. He simple wants to produce armour for all the great re-enactors out there. He has never been any part of the office part of the business; he left me solely responsible for that. He feels guilty for not having helped and been more informed about what was going on in the office area. I always lead him to believe I was doing fine.

Mostly in this post I would like to apologize for having had such poor communication with customers. I accept responsibility for any miscommunication and lack of communication. I am working very hard to assure that these issues do not continue.

I am a good person and never would intentional mislead or lie to others.

Again, I am sorry that I have offended or upset any customer.

I took it upon myself to make this apology and to try and clarify that you are simple beating up the wrong person on this forum simple because his name is the one listed on the “marquee”. I have done many things good for Waldryk’s Armoury but it is apparent that I have done a lot of things bad as well.

Thank you for taking to time to read this post and I hope that I have not destroyed a great a great craftsman’s reputation.

Thank you,
Snowlyne Renn
