elbow cops

Post by sean of the chipendales »

Hello, I am looking for some ideas for an elbow cop that is low profile enough to fit under a full chainmail sleeve. Anybody have any ideas for this purpose? thanks all, Sean Chipendale

YOu can go with a plain wingless cop, a bazuband or even some hockey elbows if they will be covered. These should all be pretty low profile. Also try torvaldr's hardened leather cops, light, low pro and protective.

Lacrosse arms. They give a bit more protection to the top and bottom, and no one even notices you are wearing them. $10 used at Play It Again Sports.

Stonekeep, Are your prices real?!!!!! How do you do it? My elbow is 13.5 inches around, which size might i be in the lowest profile cop you have. And, which style of your cops have the lowest profile?

lolol

Yea, Im kind of a nonprofit armory but at the same time we are the largest.

Just go to the website www.stonekeeparmory.com check out the elbow cops we have because we have quite a few varieties and will be adding more before spring even.

Then check out the sizing page and look at the sizing cartoons. When you figure out what size you need, go over to our instock page.
We normally have a lot more in stock but I had surgery 6 weeks ago. Good news is Im back up and running with very few orders in line, so even if I dont have it instock it would only be a couple days on small items like that.

elbows

Post by sean of the chipendales »

Ok, this makes me feel stupid :) My elbow p-p is 13cm with my gambeson on. I see on your site that most are 30somethingx11-12, what is the 30 something measuring? Also, what elbow do you recommend for being the most low profile, Gothic fanless or regular fanless? Sorry for all the ?s, Sean Chipendale

Anything fanless is pretty low profile...
The first (and largest) measurement is the P-P

Are you sure about that measurement?
I made a set of arms for a 10 year old boy and his measurement was about 23 cms.

13cm would be about a 4.5 inch long cop...

Now 13 inches would be around 30 something cm's.

Well, I am sure I am using cm's, but thats about all I am sure of :). The whole circumfrence of my elbow is 31cm's. I am measuring from one of the bone points, around the back of the elbow, to the other bone point. I feel really dumb right now :) If I measure the width between the edges of my old cops, it is 14.5 cm metal to metal, no padding. Michael, will you pm me your phone #? I can better explain (and be explained to) over the phone. Thanks, Sea Chipendale

Okay will do.. I think this is due to us making armor for sca use, and you are wearing your armor without sca type padding. Pm on the way.
