FS: strap hardware for shields - 2 sets

Post by Cat »

I messed around in the forge today and make up a couple of sets of these. They will take up to a 1" strap (they're 1" in the middle), and they are 2.25" to 2.5" long from the bottom of the crimp to the end of the staple - cotter pin - whatever you wanna call it. They have been blackened and waxed with beeswax. The price is $8 plus shipping for a set of 2 (2 sets shown). EDIT: These news ones are crimped much closer to the ring than the ones on my shield are, so the new ones won't stick up that far.

Below is a pic from the website where I got my "inspiration". I made round rings this time as that's what they have pictured. I am also attaching a pic of similar ones installed on my shield.

Thanks fer lookin'.

Cat

Ps. I burnt my thumb, and I will gladly accept sympathy chocolate. :)

Nice. I like accuracy, and I have to think about strapping my shield.

By the way:
