WANTED: Two Leather Fencing Bucklers

Post by Aaron »

Hi,

I'm requesting two leather fencing bucklers (used is fine) for "soft-sword" fighting.

I'd like them to be leather (or even plastic...) with rolled edges so they don't damage the soft sword kit. The helmets are karate helmets with wildly un-medieval flavor, so even a plastic buckler (with rolled edges) would be fine.

This is just so I can practice while away.

They don't have to be thick either. This is just a soft-sword, not even up to the damage a fencer's blade can generate.

How soon would you need these? I've never made one before, but it sounds like a fun project. The only problem is that I wouldn't be able to get to it until sometime in February.

Anywho, if you're interested, email me and we can discuss the details.

Century Martial Arts sells just what you are looking for. I think they are $35 each.... Plus it's a big enough company that I bet they can get them to you quickly.
