Jousting tournament in Taupo, NZ

Post by Black Swan Designs »

Hi All-

I know that this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I thought some of you would enjoy seeing some photos of the jousting tournament Jeff participated in last weekend. it was sponsored by The Company of the Lance, and took place in Taupo, New Zealand.

Jeff had a fantastic time and said the jousting was awesome. He loved hanging out with his friends and doing what he loves best in such a beautiful country.

Here is a gallery of photos from Perry Svensen called Once upon a time

There are loads of piccs here, I just pulled out some nice ones of Jeff. Fred Piraux has the yellow caparison with red rings. One of the event organizers and Jeff's good friend Jezz Smith has the black dragon on his crest.

Now Gwen, ....you know the "crest" is a device that goes on top of the helmet. The "arms" are on the shield  Great pics! Looks like a blast...Otto PS ; sorry for the tease, just couldnt help myself
