MSC Direct
I got mine from MSC.
Read the dimensions carefully, they size it strangely. For any decent sized project, you're going to have to buy a roll significantly larger than the project--the small size is too little and the large size is too much.
Whereever you get it it is expensive!
Here's a link to their felt sheeting.
I used this for my new gamboised cuisses. It protects as well as my older poly/wool carpet padding, but it's thinner.
I also plan to use it for a new gambeson, at least on the shoulders and maybe all over.
Nothing against Mcmaster-carr. I've ordered sorbothane from them in years past.

Not yet, but I intend to. I currently use it on my gamboised cuisses.
I think it will breath reasonably well.
It is 100% wool. the stuff from MSC, that is.
