Pic for Therion

Post by freiman the minstrel »

Therion,

A litttle while ago we talked about the awesome black and white late period suit you had made a plastic copy of to go and play SCA stick stuff. It had no codpiece.

I went to the Museum in Nuremberg, and got this pic.

http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/forgotten_castle/vwp?.dir=/&.src=gr&.dnm=Black+and+white+suit.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/forgotten_castle/lst%3f% 26.dir=/%26.src=gr%26.view=t

I hope that link works.

I have about sixty photos of the armor and weapons at the museum, and I have no place to host such a large collection of photos.

I guess I should have paid more attention when JT explained how to get space on the archives' server.

hope this helps

Just for Therion? The rest of us can't look? I'm gonna do it anyway!

Isn't working for me, I guess only Therion CAN look.

Funny but it looks very much like a girl with cucumber slices on her eyes. Image

Well, it's actually my server -- home.armourarchive.org -- and not the space hosted by Easyspace. By using my server, and a business-class account, I can provide (virtually) unlimited space, and a 768Kbps upload speed, which seems to be plenty.

You can find out more (including how to still get space) by looking at http://www.armourarchive.org/links/archive_at_home_howto.shtml

Thanks, Freiman!

Here's the link, with a bit of the extra stuff cut off - this should work for most folks:

http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/forgotten_castle/vwp? .dir=/&.src=gr&.dnm=Black+and+white+suit.jpg&.view=t&.done

Gotta love the way they made the brayette tip silver!
